Dirty and/or corrosive air applications. The IAF is an Industrial Aerofoil Fan with proven performance and proven reliability through twenty years and hundreds of installations. Engineers and users specify the IAF for many high pressure applications, such as supply air, combustion air, product cooling and drying.

The IAF is recognised for heavy duty construction. Housings are strongly braced to resist high pressure movement. Shafts and bearings are sized for belt drive duty and provide years of uninterrupted life. Split pillow block roller bearings are standard on all IAF fans. Impellers are dynamically balanced for smoother running. Deep spun inlet cones guide the air into the impeller and over its hollow aerofoil shaped blades, providing maximum efficiency and minimum sound levels. Static efficiencies exceed 80%, reducing the energy needed to move each cubic metre of air.

Impellers are fully welded to deliver structural integrity and operational longevity. Spun steel impeller cones optimise air flow while precision balancing assures dependable vibration free operation. Fan housings are of continuously seam welded steel construction with steel bearing supports. Stiffening braces at close intervals eliminate case distortion due to variations in air pressure and flow. Shafts are of machined, ground and polished SAE 1040 to 1045 Steel. Heavy duty SKF or similar self-aligning ball or roller type bearings are used as standard.
